Problem Note 56215: The ODS PACKAGE destination removes the byte order mark (BOM) from ZIP files that are generated with UTF-8 encoding

DetailsHotfixAboutRate It

When you use the ODS PACKAGE destination to generate ZIP files, the byte order mark (BOM) is not retained if the files are created using UTF-8 encoding. When the file is uncompressed, the BOM is missing, which prevents the file from being identified as a UTF-8 file by other software.
